Sorry to disappoint, but this post isn’t about the band, but there are some serious distortions and twistings of the truth going on in many social platforms. Since my last post about the distortion of social media, and leaving Facebook and Instagram, I have discovered that there has been a surge of others making a similar decision, and cutting their ties with those platforms– resulting in millions of people joining alternative social media platforms.

It’s certainly understandable. Everybody is sick and tired of being bullied and censored by BigTech, BigPharma, BigPolitics, and all of the BigJerks. Leaving them was one of the best decisions I’ve made.

MeWe, Parler, and Gab have been around for a few years, but they were small before 2020, which made them not feel very social– which was boring. I joined MeWe in 2018 since I was seriously considering getting off of Facebook then, but then I forgot about it. Gab has been around since 2016, but it’s brand new to me. Parler has been around since 2018, but these last few months, has exploding with new users, as well.

Gab was founded by Andrew Torba, whose standard response to corrupt media is, “Jesus is King, speak freely on Gab.com.” This alone makes me happy to be a part of Gab.

So, this isn’t going to be a long post about these new platforms and why I’m joining them. I’m just letting my people know where I am. All of the BigJerks make it less convenient to add these platforms to our lives, especially Gab which has been banned from Google Play, but there are ways around that.

We’re in the middle of a different kind of war. A digital war, but not any less serious because our freedoms are being stripped and threatened daily, and and now is the time to Lay the Proud Usurpers Low!

I have created my own social icons for my website since they are not automatically an option with my website builder. They’re a little clunky, but they work! And my new social pages are trying to figure things out too, so please be patient.

I hope to see you there!
